November Summary

Sorry it's late, been a busy month.

SCAS Postal League

Congratulations to Edward Pocket, Richard Buckner, and Rob Aldridge, for making the SCAS Postal Leage Hampshire Team at the end of October, well done Gentlemen.

Winter Field League

The Winter Field League had its first event of this season on the second Sunday of the month, a 12 target Field course. Thank You to all those who stepped in to help put the course together and run the event while our Tournament Organiser was sunning himself in India.

26 archers took part and once the scores were in with adjustments for bow style, age, etc. Heidi Morrell and Dan Hawley, both shooting Longbow, were leading the way and the only two to break the 200points barrier.

Can they increase their lead after the December WFL shoot on the second Sunday of December? The December WFL shoot will be a 12target 3D round.

Berkshire Indoor

Richard Buckner and Rob Aldridge came back 2nd overall and 1st 50+Visitor in Recurve and 3rd overall and 2nd 50+ Visitor.

Well done gentlemen.

Portsmouth Challenge

Currently it looks like Aiden is leading the way in 1st place at the end of November, with David Mahers in 2nd and Angus Falcon Relf in 3rd.

Chistmas Event and Open Committee Meeting

Don't forget the Clubs' Christmas Evening at Lady Rose Hall, on December the 15th.

Book your place via the events page ... ... we will run through a brief committee meeting before the social side starts. Please bring some nibbles for yourself or for sharing, plus whatever you want to drink.

We'll start at 7pm and once the committee meeting has finished we'll run a quiz for all those in attendance.

It's a great way to meet some of your fellow club members, see the committee in action and have some fun as well.
