ARCHERY GB - NATIONAL COUNTY TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
A team of 40 Hampshire Archers travelled up to Lilleshall in September for the championships - this included our very own Richard Buckner. Alas he was not allowed to wear orange for the tournament, and had to make do with a Hampshire team shirt - this normally affects his scores...
However, Sat 24th saw Richard as the last man on the shooting line, with one arrow remaining, to take the win!
With 140 archers standing behind him, he fell back onto the skills that he has aquired, shooting with club members, whilst they heckle him on the line - all for moments like this....
We are pleased to say that his arrow was a good one, and won the match for his team, and for Hampshire. Well done Richard!
