A few members attended the all British Field Champs, held at Pentref this year. It was a great course with some kind shots and a few tricky ones, to keep us on our toes.
Richard and Angus both came along for one day only, meaning they weren't placed, but had a good fun shoot.
Steve A & B were there both days. Steve B shot well, esp. considering he hasn't been able to get to the range for a while and came 17th, 3 more points would have made 14th, so pretty close stuff.
Steve A shot well on Saturday with a Bowman score, then slightly worse on Sunday, coming 11th overall.
However, a nice surprise when he was awarded the gold medal for the best old git, along with a nice silver platter!
